Does Working at Home Save You Money?

Visions of working in one's pajamas easily conjured up by many who yearn for "freedom" to work from home. At first glance, it seems that the question of whether money would be saved by working this way is trivial. Of course, you'll save money on commuting, on a business suit, an expensive lunch, and even giving corporate gifts, etc. The question of saving money by working at home is so-ooo obvious (and if my teenager is said to be the roll eyes!). Before you start bankrolling those saving for a cruise, I want you again, stop and see if you can take the concept of 'saving money' - you will - to 'reinvest the money' -. who will

It is prudent to sit down and go over budget for the past six months to a year. What we are trying to set aside the money you spend on work related matters in your life. Would you like to look at the money you spend on the following items:

- travel, transport (including road tolls / parking / tipping of a lot of students), including part of your vehicle depreciation and maintenance

.

- Clothing - business attire, including shoes / hair / makeup, etc.

- Packages and dining area from which the business relationships and not coming back

.

- gifts, the thank you gifts for a birthday gift for your boss, for forgiveness and other celebratory gifts, you are asked to contribute too much

.

- Office Supplies - It is true that the briefcase, pen, or staples, most of us contribute to the corporate office budget, but take things from work. If you use a home computer and telephone to work, then you are subsidizing your business using your own equipment too.

- Annexes - Think back and evaluate the money you spend on charitable contributions that might not have decided to do, or would you choose to do otherwise. This includes everything from employee giving campaigns Girl Scout cookies.

There are other things as well, but this little exercise is a great revelation in terms of where a lot of money is recycled back into your business! Now I am not advocating that because you work from home you can stop paying attention to the appearance or stop donating to a charity of your choice. I said yes, because a significant portion of these costs will be reduced at some point as you build your business, whether separate budget, part of the monthly equal at least half of what a normal (and usually unconsciously) to spend a month on these items. This will be the beginning of your equity stake - the funds that will be used to "reinvest" in equipment and training for your company. Notice - I'm not talking about dipping into their retirement savings, maxing out your credit card, or denying his family more than anything

.

I'm talking about plain, old linear mathematics and plain old linear thinking. In the midst of real change that I talk to you about a change in your attitude towards work, his life and the people want and are already in my life, I ask you to change your attitude towards the importance of spending money to work instead of on the job . Begin to give yourself, as well fills up, you will attract funds to give to others!
